Nick has had a solid 2007 season, recording seven top 10 finishes on the European Tour - one highlight being his 7th place finish in the US Open after leading after the first round, and playing in another winning GB&I side in the Seve Trophy.
The biggest highlight has been his second Tour victory at the prestigious Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, played across the world class links courses of St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns in Scotland. This outstanding win has propelled Nick into the top 50 on the world rankings and sees him in the running to qualify for the 2008 Ryder Cup.
The 2008 season began well with Nick finishing 7th in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters in January. A highlight of this year for Nick was playing in his first Masters at Augusta where he finished 33rd.
While 2008 became a tough year for Nick on a personal level and was exacerbated by the disappointment of narrowly missing out on the 2008 Ryder Cup team, he still managed to record some great results, including runner-up at the SAS Masters in Stockholm, 4th at the Celtic Manor Wales Open and 7th at the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles.
Additionally, he was quite proud to be selected to the 2009 Royal Trophy European Team, which was his debut to what he anticipates to be a successful new season on Tour. |
